SCOTTSDALE , AZ, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Atria Heart, part of the Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA) platform, today announced it has acquired Cardiovascular Consultants (“CVC”), a milestone that accelerates Atria Heart’s growth across metropolitan Phoenix and expands access to physician-led, high-quality cardiovascular care.

Cardiovascular Consultants has deep roots in metropolitan Phoenix cardiology with a more than 40-year history of providing strong patient care, and Atria Heart has earned a rapidly growing reputation for clinical excellence, innovation, and physician leadership. Together, the organizations bring complementary strengths and a shared commitment to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care.

As a practice within the CVAUSA platform, Atria Heart is supported by a physician-centered model designed to help leading cardiovascular groups scale while preserving physician autonomy, local clinical decision-making, and practice culture. Together, Atria Heart will build on its deep, collaborative partnership with the HonorHealth hospital system, aligning physicians and health system leadership to deliver coordinated, high-value cardiovascular care across one of the country’s fastest-growing regions.

“Today’s announcement reflects both momentum and commitment,” said Maulik Shah, MD, FACC, FSCAI, leader and co-founder of Atria Heart. “As we welcome Cardiovascular Consultants into Atria Heart, our priority is clear: protect what patients value, especially excellent care, continuity, and access, while building the scale needed to serve a rapidly growing community. We also have a deep appreciation for our partnership with HonorHealth. It’s built on trust and true physician alignment, and it has helped us grow the right way clinically, operationally, and culturally.”

“Atria Heart is a premier group with exceptional physicians and a clear vision for Arizona,” said Tim Attebery, Chief Executive Officer of CVAUSA. “This acquisition brings together two highly respected practices and expands access while keeping physicians at the center of care delivery. We’re proud to support Atria Heart as it scales thoughtfully, invests in innovation, and continues delivering high-value cardiovascular care across the region, especially alongside a health system partner as aligned and committed as HonorHealth.”

“HonorHealth’s cardiovascular growth has been fueled by a multimodal approach to physician alignment, including both our employed group, a growing academic/research division, as well as other aligned and committed groups, who have a shared commitment to quality and patient experience,” said John Neil, Chief Physician Executive and Executive Vice President of HonorHealth. “Atria Heart is a vital partner in that strategy. Bringing Cardiovascular Consultants into Atria Heart, including many of their physicians who have a strong history of excellent patient care within HonorHealth, strengthens our shared ability to expand access to advanced cardiovascular services across metropolitan Phoenix with the focus of improving care for patients and strengthening the community.”

With the addition of Cardiovascular Consultants, Atria Heart strengthens its clinical depth and community footprint and continues its trajectory toward becoming one of the largest and highest quality cardiovascular groups in the Southwestern United States while maintaining the culture, continuity, and patient experience that both practices are known for. The combined practices will now feature 9 offices and nearly 30 physicians and providers.
